‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 29 preview: What to expect from ‘Girl Meets the Bay Window’

In just one day’s time, “Girl Meets World” is going to be back on the Disney Channel with an episode of the show that is hugely important for so many reasons. For one, “Girl Meets the Bay Window” is almost all about the friendship between Riley and Maya. We’ve seen their world expand at times in season 2, and we’ve also seen romance enter the picture for them with Lucas becoming a part of their social circle.

Here, we’re going more back to the past to see the very beginning of their friendship, and how the two treasured the bay window almost as a refuge. This was a chance for them to think about the future, enjoy their lives, and talk about everything going on in their world.

Now, Riley is thinking about giving the area a visual makeover, and that is not going to be an easy thing for Maya to accept. She doesn’t want to see something so emblematic of her childhood chance, and we understand the reasoning there given that she associates so many memories with this. However, change is a part of life, and it only feels appropriate that this episode is airing now given that these characters are now getting set to graduate middle school in the season finale airing next month.

Ultimately, “Girl Meets the Bay Window” may be one of the few episodes of this show in which we’re rather grateful that to the Disney Channel for when it comes to it airing out of order. It feels perfect in this spot.
