‘The Flash’ season 2 video: Trailer teases ‘who is Zoom?’ answer, King Shark return

There’s clearly a lot to look forward to on “The Flash” moving forward through the rest of season 2. How do we know? Let’s just say that the latest promo from The CW serves as a nice little bit of evidence.

Let’s quickly nail down beat by beat some of the big things that the network was kind enough to tease here.

1. Answers as to Zoom’s identity – Is he Hunter Zolomon, Earth-2 Henry Allen, Earth-2 Wally West, someone totally new, or someone potentially from another world altogether? There are a million theories, but answers are coming sooner rather than later.

2. More Killer Frost – You’re welcome. We just hope that she finds some more ways to stick around in the long-term. We’ll forever be in the camp who wants to eventually see Earth-1 Caitlin become some version of the character, as that is far more complex than having her just be a villain on another world.

3. King Shark – He’s back! This time around you’re getting the Earth-1 incarnation, who is being carted over to Central City by Diggle and Lyla. With Amanda Waller getting the “DC Comics wants to kill you off for the movies” treatment, it only seems right that we’d see more of these two tied directly to ARGUS.

4. More villains – Trajectory is coming at some point soon as someone capable of executing a great frame job of The Flash. Meanwhile, we still have Geomancer wrecking havoc in Central City right now.

5. General awesomeness – This is “The Flash” that we’re talking about here, and we feel like we’re coming off of arguably one of our favorite episodes of the entire series so far.
