‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 6, episode 12 review: Yolanda Hadid burns Lisa Rinna to the ground
Last time on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” we saw Lisa Rinna call out the other housewives to find out who actually told Yolanda about Lisa Vanderpump’s comments about her children and their Lyme disease. As it turns out it was actually Erika Girardi (who admitted to it during a confessional), but the other ladies haven’t found out yet. Will they learn about her role in the gossip tonight?
It came out pretty early that Erika was the one that told Yolanda about the conversation regarding her kids, but Lisa R. is not off the hook completely. Yolanda had a conversation with Eileen and said (on camera) that she could say that Lisa R. is bi-polar, but she wouldn’t do that…. but of course she just did to all the Bravo viewers! Finally they all sit down and Lisa R. and Yolanda have it out and while Lisa tries to be diplomatic about the Munchausen comment that she never actually said, we can see that Yolanda is on fire and is ready to burn Lisa to the ground. Yolanda is swearing, yelling and refusing to accept Lisa’s apology. Yolanda demands that Lisa tell her who first said that Yolanda isn’t sick, but Lisa won’t give up the name of the instigator. In the end Yolanda really just wants her friends to stand up for her and it ends in a hug between Yolanda and Lisa – but nothing feels resolved.
The fight between Kim Richards and Lisa R. that happened at a restaurant last season came up at a lunch and Kathryn tried to jump in and give her opinion on the situation even though she wasn’t there. Erika tried to get everyone to stop talking about it for Kyle’s sake, but Kathryn wasn’t able to leave it alone. Eventually Kathryn reveals that she lost her father to addiction when she was 13 and that’s why this is a hot button topic for her. There was a lot of talk in this episode about addiction as we heard more about Kim’s journey, Kathryn shared what happened with her father, and Lisa R. talked about her own sister’s struggles. Kyle revealed that she and Kim are on a better path and it was really positive to hear that since these two sister’s have been on a long path towards finding sturdy ground together.
Our favorite part of this episode was seeing how powerful and charming Erika’s husband is. People may try to call her a gold digger, but her husband is really charismatic, so we see why Erika ended up with him. The private jet is just a bonus wrapped up in a 76 year old charmer. Episode grade: B

Tom Girardi was pretty rude to Erika the second time he told her to be quiet. #ego
