‘Ray Donovan’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Revenge’ alum Gabriel Mann joins cast

Given what a fan we’ve been of Gabriel Mann over the years, we’re glad to report that the “Revenge” alum has a new gig waiting for him over on Showtime’s “Ray Donovan.”

So who is he going to play? What we know by now is that according to Variety, he will be in at least three episodes of the upcoming fourth season as Jacob Waller, a powerful attorney who is known for representing really successful clients. As for what throws him into the orbit of Ray or some other cast members, that remains to be seen.

What we do know is that “Ray Donovan” is one of those shows that does give you opportunities to tell as many interesting stories as possible with its guest cast, so even if it only appears at the moment like Mann will appear in a handful of episodes, who knows if it will stay that way for long? We certainly think it’s possible that we end up seeing the character longer than we expect provided that he finds a good niche with the rest of the cast.

Season 4 of “Ray Donovan” will officially start airing on Showtime later this summer, and given where we are right now in the casting and filming process, we imagine that we’re going to have a whole lot more news when it comes to the series at some point in the near future.
