‘Code Black’ spoilers: Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants to guest star
Who doesn’t love it when football stars turn up in unexpected places? CBS has been able to bring a lot of NFL personalities onto their shows this year thanks in part to Thursday Night Football, but the one we’re about to get with Odell Beckham Jr. on “Code Black” is a little bit different. After all, Thursday Night Football ended last year!
As it was revealed during a Super Bowl 50 commercial, the New York Giants wide receiver will be gracing the medical drama in a role that he should be extremely familiar with at this point: Himself. We know that he’s going to be holding a young child at one point, and we’re very interested to see why in the world it is this show that he decided to appear on.
For example, if it was us, we would have personally projected that Odell would be making an appearance on some sort of comedy series or quirky character drama, mostly because of the fact that he has shown himself to be such a big character on the field. He’s the sort of person who could come in and steal almost any scene.
As for when you’re going to see Odell back on the football field … well, you’re going to have to wait until the fall in order for that to happen. We’re getting to set to end the season tonight, which is probably a great thing for those of you who are annoyed with how the NFL has messed up programming for many shows.
