Is ‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 14 new tonight? What’s next for Julianna Margulies, cast
Tonight, CBS is broadcasting one of the biggest events of the television year in Super Bowl 50. With that in mind, you really cannot be altogether surprised that there is no new episode of “The Good Wife” coming on the air. It’s ultimately good news that it’s not; even if CBS did not have the big game, they don’t want to compete against the most-watched show of the entire year. The only thing that would come out of that is trouble and plenty of it.
So what can you expect to see when the show returns on February 14? The first big thing is an opportunity to see the show in many ways more similar to what it once was: Alicia Florrick working closely once more with Diane Lockhart and Cary Agos! She and Lucca are joining the firm, but they still have to figure out a way to fit in.
Another thing that should be interesting is seeing what this transition means for things between Alicia and Jason Crouse, given the fact that they have started to become more romantic. Yet, it was very different when Alicia was working for herself and she had a whole lot more privacy.
In terms of scheduling, we know that there are two episodes that are to still air in the month of February, and from there, we’ll be on hiatus on February 28 thanks to another important event that tends to generate big ratings year in and year out: The Oscars.
Update: It was just confirmed during the Super Bowl that season 7 will be the last.
