‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 16 preview: Walter, Toby go to war … over coffee creamer?

There’s a new episode of “Scorpion” coming up on Monday night, and based on the sneak peek below, we’re going to get a chance to learn a thing or two more about why Walter O’Brien and Toby are being sent (rather hilariously) to couples counseling … and how coffee creamer could be at the center of everything.

As you can see in the sneak peek below, Toby seems to be finding a way to sneak hazelnut flavored coffee creamer onto the grocery list for Team Scorpion’s HQ, knowing full well that Walter doesn’t like it. Their discussion of this is something straight out of a “Seinfeld” episode stylistically, and as enjoyable as we find it, apparently some of the other people don’t actually feel the same exact way.

By the end of this preview, Paige is the one who ultimately sentences the do characters to therapy for their professional issues, where none other than magic man / comedian / master of awesome things Penn Jillette will be the person responsible for overseeing their progress! This in theory sounds like it will be a lot of fun, and we’re pretty sure it will be.

As for the more serious turn of this episode, get ready to see the team struggle to figure out how in the world they are going to protect the city after a serious earthquake rocks it to the core. There are multiple reasons, after all, why this story is entitled “Fractured.”
