‘House of Cards’ season 4 spoilers: ‘The Killing’ alum Joel Kinnaman snags secret role
“House of Cards” loves to shroud itself in as much secrecy as possible, so you really cannot be surprised about the following bit of news, either: Joel Kinnaman of “The Killing” fame is now aboard for a super-secret season 4 role.
The show’s official Twitter account was the first to confirm the news, and shared a key photo from the upcoming season as evidence. Kinnaman has certainly diversified his portfolio as of late. In addition to being on the AMC critical darling he was also the star of a “RoboCop” reboot, and to go along with all of this, is appearing in the upcoming movie version of “Suicide Squad” in a key role. He’s got some great stuff coming up, and this is a chance to get into more serious drama.
The new season of “House of Cards” will begin streaming on Netflix starting on Friday, March 4, with all of the episodes available right away. While this show (or any other on Netflix) has official ratings data out there for it, it is considered in many ways to be the biggest show that they offer and for good reason. It has a tremendous cast, heavy drama, and also has received quite a few awards over the years. As of right now, it and “Orange is the New Black” have emerged as the two key critical favorites.
