‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 6, episode 9 review: The Kathryn Edwards – Faye Resnick ‘fight’

Edwards -

Last week on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” we had the arrival of Kathryn Edwards and it looks like this week she is going to be front and center when it comes to the drama. We also saw Elieen Davidson open up about her abusive past which something that we were surprised she did, but also proud of her for doing since it’s clearly a topic that is beyond difficult to share with your closest family and friends let alone the whole world.

Eileen had an emotional story of her own this week as she went to Italy to help honor her late sister, and as a result of this got to steer clear of most of the nonsense that made up this hour. Trust us when we saw how all of this played out. Apparently, Kathryn Edwards’ main contribution to the show at the moment is arguing with Faye Resnick over comments that came out in a book years ago about the OJ Simpson case decades ago. If this was “The Real Housewives of 1997,” maybe this would be slightly more relevant.

The other funny thing is that despite all of this buildup Faye ultimately worked her way out of the situation, and Kathryn still doesn’t feel like she got what she wanted out of it. There may be unfinished business here, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Also in this episode we had Kyle Richards continuing to play the host, Yolanda Foster’s Lyme disease still being a subject of conversation, and Lisa Vanderpump thinking about converting a sex store into a future restaurant. This was all bizarre, but at least it wasn’t boring. This entire episode save for Eileen was a mess, but the sort that you cannot help but watch. Episode grade: B-.
