‘Scream Queens’ season 2 spoilers: Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis to return

There’s some great news coming out today when it comes to “Scream Queens“: A series of oh-so-familiar names are going to be coming back on the show for the just-renewed second season!

According to Deadline, the cast for the second season will include quite a few of the familiar female faces that we saw from season 1 in their same roles: Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd, and Keke Palmer. These ladies should all be back as the setting shifts over to a hospital. As for how in the world they all are going to fit into that, this is something that remains to be seen. We’re especially curious given what was revealed about Michele’s Hester at the end of the first season.

Filming should start for season 2 later this year, and casting is probably going to be underway soon in an effort to try and find as many other male cast members as the show requires. With the title not being “Scream Kings,” we wonder if it is going to continue to be a thing that so many different people are brought in every season. That could be a major assist to showrunner Ryan Murphy in his attempts to further recruit big-name guest stars. We have to imagine that there are going to be quite a few out there with an interest in giving this a try.

The second season should premiere this fall, and we have to say that we are already rather excited about seeing just what the network and the producers decide to do from here.
