‘Quantico’ spoilers: Be prepared (fittingly) for a time jump
When “Quantico” returns to ABC on March 6, it only seems fitting that some time will have passed in one of the main storylines that the show is bringing to us. Specifically, we’re speaking in terms of the one in the future.
Speaking per TVLine, executive producer Josh Safran confirms that “there will be a significant time jump in the future segment of our storyline,” specifically with it lasting around three months. By the time we see these characters once more, we will have a different approach to learning who died in the explosion, and also figuring out if anything happened at all between Alex and Liam in the wake of what we just had a chance to witness in the winter finale.
There of course will also be plenty else to learn about some of the other characters, but for the most part what we continue to wonder is how long the show can continue to keep up this central conceit of showing us life at Quantico for the NATs, and then also what is happening in the future with all of the craziness there. Sooner or later, we do think that the show is going to run into a problem where the future is where all of the interesting stuff is happening; it is a similar issue to what “Arrow” has been mired in almost from the beginning with Oliver Queen and some of what he’s been forced to deal with there in some of the flashbacks.
Hopefully we’ll have some further scoop soon; stay tuned!
