‘NCIS’ season 13: Who’s interested in Cote de Pablo – Michael Weatherly reunion?
For all of those wondering, it’s clear that Michael Weatherly is well aware what many “NCIS” fans want to see at the end of his run on the show: The return of Ziva David in some shape or form. We’ve been an advocate for it in several articles already; we understand not everyone is, but our thought process is mostly just that it seems right to bring back anyone who had a significant impact on the Tony DiNozzo character, and out of the cast members no longer around she tops the list. She was there for eight years, plus Ziva is still alive.
In a post on Twitter earlier this week, Weatherly joked that even his mom is now asking about whether or not Tony will leave with Ziva at the end of the season. We anticipate this being a thing for much of the next few months to come; everybody’s going to want to know, but we’re not sure if CBS will even announce it in advance if she does come back. It’s the sort of thing that would be of greater benefit to be a surprise while you are watching it to see her turn up, even if it is just for a brief cameo.
Unfortunately, you still have probably at least four months to wait until you’ll see how Tony is written out of the show; the finale usually airs in May, and we don’t see that changing. What we do see is a larger promotional campaign around it than usual, mostly because it’s not often that CBS gets to celebrate someone who has been a part of their family as long as Michael. He will hopefully continue to work with them in some capacity in the future with his production company.
We’ve already covered the Tony – Ziva angle in many forms over the past few days. Want to check out some more news? Head over here to vote on our poll regarding if Ziva should return, or take a look at our lengthy CarterMatt Extended post talking the future of “NCIS.”

The thing is, having Ziva back doesn’t automatically mean a Tiva ending. Michael has never been a fan of Tiva. He said so many times. He and Cote are friends so it’s no surprise that he welcomes Ziva back but it still doesn’t mean that he’s happy about the whole Tiva thing. He never was. He even said it wasn’t real. In my opinion, Tony deserves a storyline that is about him and will not reduce him to be the T in Tiva. Because in fact, that’s all he ever was when it comes to Ziva/Tiva. Tony was written long before Ziva was even just a little thought in the mind of the people in charge. Ziva was a part of the show and she will always be. But again: Tony is more than just the T in Tiva and after all those years of him being the one to deal with HER garbage, he deserves a great farewell about him, not about anyone else.

Please. No more Ziva. Tony’s exit needs to be about Tony. Not the T part of the imaginary Tiva. However I have no faith the current ptb even have a clue of what Michael Weatherly’s Tony means to the show. Glasberg and Harmon are in love with Gibbs and that’s apparently ALL that matters. Bye Tony. :( Bye NCIS.

Ugh dissing GG and MH is your Hobby right? You’re aware that MH isn’t writing the scripts and that he’s ONE of the executive producers right? It was stated numerous times by the cast & crew that MH is most likely to follow whatever he’s given. That means if someone decides to pay more attention to Gibbs than to Tony, then MH is following that. And MW is a grown up man, if he had any problems with the storylines or whatever he could have opened his mouth to the writers etc., because it is known by (almost) everyone (at least by the real fans) that the actors are very involved in their characters. So please, do yourself and everyone the favor and stop blaming MH for things he has no Control over. If you want to blame GG and the writers for the storylines then do so. But don’t blame a hard working actor for doing his job.

LSilvaxx, I must say it’s delightful to read your posts, as I agree with them 100% percent. I very much like there is someone reasonable here, who actually have an idea how behind-the-scenes looks like.

I’m confused. If the actors “are very involved in their characters” and Michael Weatherly had great amounts of control, while Mr. Harmon is an executive producer as well as the star but MH can’t be blamed for “things he has no Control over.” So let me get this straight – Weatherly has control and Harmon doesn’t. Got it.

No you did not get it. Harmon has no Control over things such as the negotiations of the other cast members, their characters, their appearances and so on.

I hope the producers are smart enough to bring back Cote de Pablo for Michael’s farewell; fans are asking for her to come back all over the web.

I hope they bring Ziva back. The majority seems to want it. Including the actors and to be honest while I have stuck around the last 2 years I really think the show needs some new blood. The new girl is unlikable and Abby acting the same immature way for 13 years is annoying.
I never liked Tony I found him immature and rude and abusive and I feel a happy ending is what he needs and deserves.

I would love to see Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly on screen again, especially since she’s stated she’s open to guest appearances. This would be the perfect time for that. I sure am gonna miss seeing Tony, just like I still miss seeing Ziva.

I am not watching unless Ziva is there so they better announce it. Or my ratings won’t be added. BRING BACK ZIVA. I have been following the twitter and it’s a good 99.9 percent in favor of Tony amd Ziva getting the happy ending. Make it happen CBS your DVD sales depend on it

So you’re telling Cote she needs to come back to make you happy? Hahahahahaha. What an ego you have. Show her some respect, i’m sure she wouldn’t want to be bullied into coming back by narcissists like yourself.

No need for us to do so, She’d likely happilly return for her “buddy” Michael’s exit. They were even texting each other during a recent interview. And they hung out together not that long ago (and it was Michael and Dennis Smith who posted the photos). I don’t doubt if Michael wants her, she’ll be there.

Right because Cote reads here. Do us all a favor and if you are planning on posting under 3 different names pick a different tone in your posts because you write the same way and it’s obvious you are the same person. You have attacked multiple people in these articles and it’s getting old

As far as I know, she was supposed to be back for S12 and she didn’t. It again caused a lot of trouble around the set but oh well. It’s obvious she had no interest in the past to come back. Don’t know if she was interested now. She made it clear that she wants Tiva to happen. Weatherly has always been against it. We’ll have to wait and see if Weatherly is again making sacrifices for the great de Pablo so she gets what she wants. Tiva shippers don’t care that it’s about Michael’s exit and what he wants.

I too want Ziva to come back at some point, so not to be rude, but I honestly think our slogan should be CONVENCE COTE TO COME BACK! Because as far as I know, NCIS producers wanted her back and she didn’t want to guest star…

Jamie wasn’t be rude she/he was stating a fact and I agree with her/him. If Ziva doesn’t come back to Tony’s ending I don’t care what they do to them. It’s called an opinion.
I spent a lot of years putting my time and effort into a relationship the producers never planned on happening and wanting a happy ending doesn’t make someone rude. Stating the fact that you aren’t coming back if the outcome isn’t what you want makes you smart. We Tiva fans have wasted enough time on this show.

Glonget didn’t say that Jamie was rude. He/she wanted to make clear that his/her response to Jamie was in no way intended to be rude or offending to Jamie.
And now, it is not Glonget’s fault that you get so invested into a fictional “romance” between fictional characters on a fictional TV show. I also don’t understand how you (or other Tiva “fans”) can claim to be so invested and yet say it’s all just a waste? It doesn’t make sense. If something bothers you that much then YOU have the choice to stop watching a show. If you decide to continue wasting your time on something that you made clear is a waste to you then it is only your fault. Don’t blame other fans, the people working on the show or anybody else for that.
And btw, stating that one doesn’t come back to watching a show because the people in charge dare to not fullfill your personal wishes is childish and the opposite of smart. It just shows that you in fact never cared for the show or the characters (since you’re a Tiva shipper it means Tony and Ziva) at all. But then again, it’s all just a waste right?

I don’t know what is in her mind now (not a mind reader) but about a year ago she was interested in coming back some time. To let her and DiNozzo be together before he leaves would give some closure for the many fans who liked her. The people who did not like her would have to put up with her for a few minutes but will probably still watch NCIS. Leaving Cote’s fans with a good feeling could help them keep watching. However, Gary Glasberg has said that he didn’t intend to bring her back this season. So, who really knows what TPTB will do.
