‘Scorpion’ season 2 spoilers: Walter O’Brien has a REALLY bad date

If you think that you have had some bad dates over the course of your life, here’s a quick word to the wise: Walter O’Brien has probably had worse, based on some details that we’re hearing about an upcoming January 25 episode of “Scorpion” season 2 entitled “Da Bomb.” That name is ridiculous in itself, and we imagine that the attached synopsis is almost sure to make you laugh:

“Team Scorpion is tasked with helping NASA’s top secret rocket launch, but they must sabotage their own mission when Walter’s date from the previous night has a bomb strapped to her chest.”

So what’s going on here? Is this some sort of atomic sign from the heavens that he should be dating Paige instead? This may be the only time that we hope Walter is not dating Paige, since this at least means that she is okay and is not getting tangled up in this sort of dangerous situation.

There is at least one more episode of “Scorpion” to come before this one on January 18, so you will be waiting a little while to see how all of this plays out. Still, this has to be in our top 3 of Favorite Episode Premises of the year. We’re sure that there will be a huge element of suspense and drama to it, but there’s just something about the episode title that comes across as so campy that it is hard to take anything about it seriously. We’ll have more news as it comes out!
