‘Legends of Tomorrow’ video: Latest promo all about Carter Hall / Hawkman

We’ve commented as of late that “Legends of Tomorrow” has tried to promote on almost an individual-character basis, and that is what they have are doing with the latest promo below, as well!

In this clip, you can see the CW series especially doing their best to hype up the character of Carter Hall, a man who goes by the name of Hawkman. He’s a prince, he’s fearless, and he certainly knows how to kick butt and take names.

With that said, is he likable? This is something that the show may have a challenge with, given that he was set up diametrically opposed to Cisco Ramon on “The Flash” and came across a bit like a Mr. Perfect. What “Legends” needs to do is get the guy to lighten up a little bit, and prove that he doesn’t need to have the weight of the world on his shoulders all of the time. If they can do that, we feel pretty confident that he can get people on his side a little more. Sure, we’re still going to root for him over Vandal Savage, but that’s mostly because Savage is a horrible person and we still have no clue why in the world Malcolm Merlyn would want to revive him.

This new series will premiere on The CW on Thursday, January 21; given that it is still a little over two weeks away, we figure that this is only the beginning of some of the coverage we’re going to have of the show. Be on the lookout for more!
