‘Supergirl’ spoilers: Blake Jenner’s debut episode revealed!

Those “Supergirl” fans out there who are particularly sleuth-like probably realized that the moment the name “Adam” was mentioned on the show’s winter finale, it was going to have big ramifications on the life of Kara Danvers. Adam is Cat’s biological son, who she often sends money to. He’s also going to be a possible love interest for Kara, and is going to be played on the CBS show by none other than Melissa Benoist’s real-life husband Blake Jenner.

Jenner will make his first appearance on the upcoming January 25 episode entitled “Strange Visitor from Another Planet,” which looks on the surface almost like it will be a huge episode specifically for David Harewood’s character of Hank Henshaw a.k.a. the Martian Manhunter:

“Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian, a member of the alien race that wiped out his people, kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat’s estranged son, Adam (Blake Jenner), arrives in National City.”

You can probably expect to see Blake around for at least a few episodes, and it should be interesting to see how he shakes things up romantically on the series. As you may recall, Winn certainly has a thing for Kara, and James (who Kara has shown an interest in herself) advised him to tell her about his feelings at some point. If he doesn’t do it before Adam shows up, he could find himself feeling quite a bit of regret for not making a move when he had a chance to do so.
