‘Better Call Saul’ season 2 poster: Jimmy McGill faces a tough road
The second season of “Better Call Saul” is coming to AMC starting on February 15, and based on the new photo above, Jimmy McGill is going to have his work cut out for him in an effort to get himself in order.
If there is one thing that we would say to describe this poster, it is this: It’s jarring. It almost makes us sick to look at because of the way in plays with perspective, and we wonder how Bob Odenkirk did this without falling over. It’s either some really clever work on his part, or some great photo editing to make it look like he actually took this on the middle of the street.
One other interesting detail about this poster is that if you look at the lights, there’s a good chance that Jimmy could have been run over a couple of seconds before he got into the left-turn-only lane. He’s a rebel! In all seriousness, we are going to be seeing a little more of a rebellious side to him this season, now that he is starting to realize that he doesn’t want to play by anyone’s rules anymore other than his own. He will be pulling out all of the stops in an effort to get precisely what he wants. It’s going to be fun, interesting, and also at times dramatic to see his evolution. Eventually, we know that we are going to see Saul Goodman emerge from him, but we don’t get the sense that the show is in all that great of a hurry.
