‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 19 video: First teaser for February 15 return
The idea of no new “Major Crimes” until February 15 is sad. While we’re glad that TNT is still promoting the show hard, we do admit that it’s a little bit of a bummer that there is no new footage of what lies ahead in the video below.
What this is for the most part is a reminder of everything that has happened, and also a way to make sure viewers know when the show is coming back for the final five episodes this season. For these, we know that the writers / producers are doing something a little bit different in giving you more of a contained arc versus something that is more procedural in nature. The specifics of it are not clear just yet, but hopefully more information will be released at some point early next year.
In the end, we imagine that these episodes will give us an opportunity to test some of the characters in ways that they really have not in some time, which is a nice thing to experiment with since over time, you do start to become a little bit numb to crimes, victims, and procedures. The same can go for the viewer who has watched approximately every crime procedural under the sun over an extended period of time.
Rest assured that the moment that there is some further news out there when it comes to the future of “Major Crimes,” we will have it for you here and then some!

Yes, I always did like Rusty, ESPECIALLY after Sharon took him in and saved him from the horrific abuses he suffered at the hands of his own mother and then what those evil males (not fit to call a men) did to that boy … I’ve been a hard, cold fan through all of the “Closer” days and Sharon and the crew really won me over and have held me through “Major Crimes”. HOWEVER, If you turn this (pardon the term) lovely crime drama into a rusty and guys drama… you’ve lost an entire family of fans. Absolutely not what I’ve tuned in for all these years.

I love the little bit of Rusty we get each week. I’m not up for Gus and Rusty which someone will inevitably dub Gusty and I will hurl.
