‘Major Crimes’ season 4 spoilers: First look at fall finale!
There have been plenty of twists and turns coming on “Major Crimes” season 4 to date, and this is only going to continue going into the fall finale more than likely. You’re going to get some deadly drama, but also potentially a new romance that could change things up on the show once more.
At the moment, TNT is keeping the majority of the details on this episode (airing a week from Monday on December 21) hush-hush, save for saying that “Penalty Phase” is the title for the hour. The synopsis below does at least do a good job of tracing out just what the story could be for the hour:
“Sharon and the team track an unhinged killer making his own film, with his victims as the stars as a new romance takes wing.”
What’s also interesting about this episode is that it was probably originally written to be the season finale, so it could have that sort of epic feel to it. It wasn’t until later that we first learned that TNT wanted to order an additional five installments, which are going to serve almost as a miniseries in their own right in February. These are going to give you a little bit of further insight into what is happening with some of these characters; not only that, but it will have a case that carries over from one week to the next. For those of you interested to see what “Major Crimes” would look like as a serialized drama, that may be your opportunity to find out!
