‘The Amazing Race 27’ finale: Who will win?

Friday night, the penultimate episode of “The Amazing Race 27” really lived up to all of the hype, since the finish came down to the wire between Justin & Diana and Tiffany & Krista. If it was not for that bad taxi driver near the end of the race in Macau (always a terrible way to go), then we couldn’t have had an improved version Andy & Tommy. (These guys were an incredible team who made a few mistakes and were eliminated right before the finale.)

With the Green Team still around, they now have to compete in the season finale against Kelsey & Joey and Logan & Chris. While they may only have one first-place finish between them, we do think that these two are capable enough to win it all. They’ve been in it with everything they’ve got for most of the season, even if they were behind most of the way.

One thing that could tip the balance somewhat? The race, based on the sighting of the Statue of Liberty in the preview for the finale, could be heading to New York City. Justin’s listed as being from the Bronx in his CBS bio. This means to us that he could be able to navigate the city a little bit better than everyone else and that’s a nice advantage.

Also, it seems as though after a leg all about taxis, they could play a huge role once again in the final episode. Kelsey & Joey complain about someone taking their cab, and then apparently the Green Team didn’t get one of their cabs to stay. Cabs can easily be a teams undoing.
