‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6: New promo art features more grown-up take
For both fans of “Pretty Little Liars” and also the cast, it has to be somewhat of a relief that the days of high school are over. The show is jumping forward five years into the future, and with that, are bringing new stories, new challenges, and a mysterious new villain into the mix.
Also, they are bringing with them new promo art! The photo below (via Entertainment Weekly)features the likes of Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) sporting their new, more-adult looks as they return to Rosewood after some time away … at least for most of them. Ali seems to have stuck around for the most part, and has now even become a teacher to go along with it.
As for what we know about the others, Hanna has spent some time overseas working in the fashion world, Spencer has worked to get into the political quagmire known as Washington DC, Aria is working in the publishing world (and even working alongside Ezra), and Emily has spent some time bartending at a tropical locale. They will all reconvene at a request seemingly of Ali’s, but collectively will all realize not long after that they could be in great peril once more. A new threat will emerge, and while the connection to “A” is not clear, they could prove to be rather dangerous in their own right.
The final ten episodes of season 6 will air starting on Tuesday, January 12 on ABC Family / Freeform. Moving beyond that, there is a seventh season slated to air in the summer.
