‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ episode 12 video: Another look at mystery injury, family visit
While it may be easy to speculate as to who is injured on Wednesday night’s upcoming episode of “Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance,” the reality is that we don’t quite know. Yes, it seems to be a guy, but the new promo below does not really show too much that you have not already seen following the end of this past episode. The idol that you see falling in the footage (taken during what we suppose is the immunity challenge) may not necessarily be the one that causes the injury. Editing can be deceptive!
The only thing that we will say one way or another is that we hope it’s not an injury that causes someone to be removed. That’s awful, especially at this point given how hard these players have worked, and that there are only a handful of tribal councils to go until the finale. Right now, there’s a 37.5% chance that you will make it to the final three!
What is a little more entertaining to us right now is the fact that so many familiar faces are coming out for the family visit! (We do hope that is Dale in the beginning with the orange shirt.) Abi-Maria’s mother is in particular someone who belongs in the Loved Ones Hall of Fame. It’s interesting to think that had Ciera made it a couple of episodes, it’s possible that we could have ended up seeing Laura turn up in this spot. Also, let’s hope that there is a Wes Nale sighting!
Kudos to the show for making the family visit happen a little earlier this year than it did in “Worlds Apart,” since otherwise the chances were pretty slim that we’d get to see as many of these people.

I don’t think it’s necessarily an injury. Some guy could have passed out/fainted during the challenge –or eve sitting on the sidelines. Look at the placement of the pink banner. as Jeff is crouched down talking to the guy. Editing can be very deceiving in terms of sequence of events. Who knows it may even be a “loved one” who needs medical attention

You’re 100% correct about deceptive editing so I guess we’ll have to wait ’til Wed. to find out just what happened. If you really want to fry your brain with theories as to who it is, go read the comments on Youtube about it. I gave up after reading the first 50 comments plus replies to comments. So many of us saw or think we saw something different, LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jzefH0u8tjE

It was the purple pole’s Buddha that fell – Joe was the one holding the purple pole…BUT…it looks to me as if the statue may have fallen onto the person holding the yellow pole. Judging by the scene of who had what colored poles – if you pause the clip you’ll see everyone and their particular colored poles, EXCEPT for Keith (although you do see a yellow pole but no person holding it) Therefore I believe it is Keith holding the yellow pole. We can see all the women reacting to Probst’s repeated yelling of “Medical!”, “Medical!” and it is a woman’s voice that clearly says: “Is he ok?” So again, that leads me to believe it is Keith that requires medical help. Unless it is Joe, himself (who as I mentioned, is the one whose statue is shown as falling in the clip) who gets hurt as a result of his own statue falling onto him.(???) I still think the ‘victim’ is Keith, however. In any event, I do hope the accident doesn’t result in an evacuation and that the injury will not have an impact on the player for the rest of the game, although this particular challenge may not count and there will be no T.C.
