‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: Are Alicia, Jason causing problems for Peter’s campaign?
Through “The Good Wife” season 7 so far, we’ve seen Alicia Florrick become quickly fascinated with Jason Crouse … even though if she is equally aware that this is a man with many issues. After all, she investigated just what happened between him and the judge, and made sure that she signed the proper forms in order to ensure that he was not any sort of insurance liability. There’s also a little bit of romantic chemistry between the two … but if they were to get together, you could all but assure that chaos would come as a result given everything that is going on in the political world right now.
Specifically, you could see their relationship start to become problematic with “Discovery,” the November 29 installment of the show that also features Alicia and Lucca actually teaming up with Louis Canning. For more, take a look at the attached synopsis:
“Alicia and Lucca join forces with Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) to defend a website against an accusation of racial profiling. Also, Eli and Ruth worry about the nature of Alicia’s relationship with Jason and how it could impact Peter’s presidential campaign.”
Hopefully this episode will contain some development for Alicia and Jason, but at the same time give at least some further stakes to what Peter has going on politically. At the moment, we are still not entirely confident one way or another as to where this story could go, and this is something that we hope to have more resolution to early next year. Are the writers really going to create an alternate-universe where he gets the Democratic ticket over someone like Hillary Clinton?
