‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: First look at midseason finale!

Basically you could describe almost any episode of “The Walking Dead” by saying that terrible things are coming, but this appears especially true for the upcoming midseason finale, which is coming to AMC just two weeks from Sunday. This could change Alexandria as we know it, and also help prepare for the arrival of some insane stuff throughout the final eight episodes starting in February.

The just-released synopsis, via SpoilerTV, for the episode (entitled “Start to Finish”) does not really give anything away other than that there may be either a time jump or at least a few days of relaxation in Alexandria before the next threat arrives:

“After having a few moments of peace, trouble finds its way to Alexandria yet again. Only this time, the threat might be too big to defeat.”

What could it be? You can make more theories about the Wolves, Saviors, Hilltop, or anything else that you want; it could just be a huge army of walkers for all we know.

The only thing that we can confirm with confidence at the moment is that you are not going to be seeing Negan anytime soon. While Jeffrey Dean Morgan may now be officially cast as the villain (one of the most feared in the history of the comic book), he is not going to be showing up until the end of the season. The plan here seems to be to use him to set up the seventh season, and based on the comics, we are incredibly terrified of whatever this character will do not long after meeting him.
