‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7 spoilers: The quest to save Marty Deeks
If you saw the preview for Monday’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” that aired earlier this week, then you know a thing or two about where the story could be going on the episode: Eventually, Marty Deeks is probably going to be getting arrested.
Where will the team go from here? Based on the details CBS has revealed for the November 23 episode entitled “Internal Affairs,” it looks almost like the end of Monday’s episode will bleed directly into it. The synopsis below more or less suggests the same thing:
“While Deeks is under arrest and interrogated for the murder of his former partner, the team races to try and prove his innocence.”
Admittedly. having a whole heap of enthusiasm for this story is not the easiest thing in the world to do, just because we’ve been down this road so many different times before, and with so many different shows. It’s easy to see the we’re going to have the Deeks character eventually freed in some sort of way, though there may be a far-reaching consequence or two. It’s such a common trope for a show like this to explore. The one thing that will make it stand out potentially are the performances, and we are keen to try to see what Eric Christian Olsen, Daniela Ruah, and many other important players are going to be able to do with some of this material.
We’ll hopefully have some more information on this episode at some point tomorrow, and that may give you more of an impression as to where we are going.
