‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 8 preview: More tension between Jamie, Eddie

Through the first seven episodes of “Blue Bloods” season 6, the tension has been fairly palpable between Jamie and Eddie. Maybe part of this is due to the natural conflict that comes from working together … or maybe it is the direct result of some sort of subconscious desire that they should totally get together.

Either way, we saw them earlier this season in a conflict after Jamie suspected as though his partner didn’t have his back. As it turned out, what really happened here was simply the result of some manipulation by someone else who wanted to put away Jamie to further their own career.

This time around on Friday night’s new episode, it seems as though there is something that happened out in the field that has caused there to be more conflict between the two, and the sneak peek below is them trying to hash it out. We imagine that in due time, they’ll do so without much of a problem. They just figure out how they are going to do it, and whether they can keep their cool long enough to not ask for new partners.

Here’s the one bit of good news we can offer you: We’d have a hard time thinking that these two would get separated at some point in the middle of the season. They work together well as a team, and fans would be rather upset. Plus, we figure that this conversation is mostly heat-of-the-moment stuff, and they will have a chance to make up in due time.
