NBC’s ‘The Voice’ spoilers: What Barrett Baber, Emily Ann Roberts, Darius Scott will perform

VoiceReady for the latest batch of song spoilers on “The Voice“? We’re here to present them early for Team Pharrell and Blake Shelton on Tuesday night, with us using the same philosophy that we did with the spoilers for Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani. For now, we’ll leave it a mystery who the wildcard acts are (you can find out if you really want to).

In addition to learning the songs, we’ll give you a brief first impression on the choice prior to us actually seeing them on the show.

Team Blake

Barrett Baber, “I Drive Your Truck” – Pretty much perfect for what he’s trying to do. We consider him close to a lock right now.

Morgan Frazier, “Lips of an Angel” – We guess that she is doing the Jack Ingram version rather than the original Hinder.

Emily Ann Roberts, “In the Garden” – If nothing else fails, sing a country version of a gospel classic. Just ask Craig Wayne Boyd how this worked.

Zach Seabaugh, “Brand New Girlfriend” – After just listening to this song for the first time, our sympathy is with him for coming up with an arrangement that is not just a straight karaoke cover.

Ivonne Acero, “One Of Us” – At this point, any song that is not country may get voters’ attention.

Team Pharrell

Madi Davis, “Songbird” – Love the choice here. Fleetwood Mac songs tend to lend to reinterpretation nicely.

Darius Scott, “Love Lockdown” – Ballsy choice. Love it. It’s really hard to sing in a way that is melodic, and it also has to be extremely emotional.

Evan McKeel, “Overjoyed” – Yes, we’re far from overjoyed that a billion singing-show contestants do Stevie Wonder. Hey, at least it’s not the same one we always here.

Mark Hood, “What Do You Mean?” – Smart move to court the Justin Bieber vote, but we also feel like this could make a unique, interesting cover.

Riley Biederer, “Should’ve Been Us” – We have high hopes for her as someone who really dug her “XO” cover.
