‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: Diane placed yet again in difficult spot

Restraint -At this particular point in time on “The Good Wife,” it is becoming increasingly difficult for Diane Lockhart to be in a position where she is not torn between what her heart feels, and what she is forced to do as a result of her job. We’ve already seen her have to reconcile this many times in season 7, and it will be continuing in grand fashion on the upcoming November 23 episode entitled “Restraint.”

The synopsis below teases the return of Peter Gallagher, Diane’s crisis, and also an attempt from Alicia and Lucca to take clients away from Louis Canning:

“Diane is personally conflicted when she is forced to argue a heated case between pro-choice and pro-life advocates in order to retain an important client, represented by attorney Ethan Carver (Peter Gallagher). Also, Alicia and Lucca are desperate for new business and attempt to poach clients from Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox).”

In the end, doesn’t this sound eventful and exciting? We certainly feel like it. Really, anytime that Christine Baranski has excellent material is a time for us as readers to celebrate. The same thing goes for getting Michael J. Fox back for stories where Louis is annoyed. There are sometimes where this character is better in small doses, but we’re never going to complain about him being used in this sort of way.
