‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 13 preview: The future for Rusty; plus, reality TV

Major Crimes -

On Monday night’s new episode of “Major Crimes,” Sharon Raydor clearly had her hands full taking on a variety of different situations. First and foremost, she had the return of Jack Raydor, which pretty much ensures that there is never a dull moment. Unfortunately, Jack also took advantage of the opportunity to make matters worse for Andy, and right at the time when we were starting to envision happy times for him staying with Sharon while he recovered from his ailments.

It’s unclear whether or not we will see the aftermath to any of this on the next new episode of the show. Instead, the synopsis below teases a case all about reality television, and also Rusty getting a chance to spend some time with Slider’s lawyer, otherwise known as the guy who never handed over his questions. Then again, there may be a reading for that when it comes to Slider’s ability to read:

“Sharon and the team investigate a murder during the taping of a reality competition show pitting married couples against each other. The case has a profound effect on Sanchez, bringing back memories of his late wife. Meanwhile, Rusty meets Slider’s lawyer, played by Greg Riikaart from ‘The Young and the Restless’.”

The reality TV component of the case will at least be fascinating, even if it does not seem particularly relevant to any long-term story. If nothing else, the synopsis should give you some solace that even if you don’t attach yourselves to the case itself, there is something else to look forward to.
