‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 7 video: Ducky tries to ‘recuse’ himself, but why?

It is not particularly often on a show like “NCIS” you see someone not altogether eager to take part in solving a case, and that is what makes the sneak peek below all the more interesting.

Basically, what we have for you below here is a video showcasing the NCIS team doing a standard investigation, at least until the body is identified as a man with past military connections. As soon as Ducky hears his name, however, he quickly tells Gibbs that he wants to recuse himself from the case, largely because he has a greater knowledge of the man’s murder “than he would like to admit.”

If you have done your fair share of reading up on this episode in advance, then odds are that you likely know a thing or two about what is being discussed here already. Ducky is a part of a secret society that likes to involve itself in solving old cases, and odds are that this is one that he has at least a marginal amount of experience with already. As a result of that, maybe he feels a little as though he is the wrong person to be continuing to work on this investigation.

Regardless of whatever Ducky may think, it remains the case to us that he will be an important part of this episode; not only that, but Gibbs and company may have him lifting the veil on this society in due time.
