‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 7 video: More on Ducky’s secret society, Abby’s guilt

Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS” is going to be venturing into some unusual places that they haven’t quite been before. Not only that, but it will be putting Ducky in the spotlight for most of it.

Who would’ve known that this character would have spent so much time working in a secret group whose goal is working on a wide array of cold cases? It’s not the sort of thing that you hear about at all. Yet, that’s what makes it fun! These are amateur sleuths if there ever was some, and it looks like this particularly storyline is where we will get the vast majority of our fun this week. It’s also been a while since Ducky had a spotlight, so that adds another layer of weight to it.

So what about some of the other stories? Even though Abby did have quite a spotlight recently with “Lockdown,” there is another one coming as we are going to see in Tuesday’s episode a story where she starts to have some guilt over a series of tests that she conducted which may have sent innocent people to jail. Obviously she didn’t intend for something like this to happen, and she may need the help of Agent Gibbs in order to figure out how to make things right. Expect a complicated story, but one that could give a few moments or two for Pauley Perrette to shine.
