‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Josh Gad, ‘surprise cast member’ set to join Chris Hardwick

What is going to be taking place on Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead“? On the surface, it appears to be a whole lot of story all about Morgan. Lennie James’ spotlight episode was teased both in the promo after this past installment “Thank You” and the sneak peek released by AMC … which may be driving some fans up the wall a little bit who were hoping for more answers on Glenn. If there’s one bit of solace we can give these fans, it is that 90 minutes is a ton of time to focus on just one person. Maybe someone else will squeak in.

As of right now, the companion series “Talking Dead” is clearly holding many of its own cards close to vest. At the moment Josh Gad is the only confirmed guest sitting next to host Chris Hardwick, but there is a “surprise cast member” coming. It is fairly easy to figure out the leading candidates for this.

Lennie James – As we said, most of this episode is about him. Then again, if this was really the case, why keep it a secret? Everyone would assume that he would go on “Talking Dead” to discuss what superficially appears to be his episode more so than anyone else’s.

Steven Yeun – Hey, we have to assume that sooner or later he is going to turn up on “Talking Dead,” though we also figure that it’d be strange to see him here if the entire episode is about Morgan. Why steal his thunder unless Glenn does have a role to play?

As for anyone else, it is really up in the air for now.
