ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: Where will Stana Katic’s Beckett be during ‘Cool Boys’?
If you are a frequent follower of all things “Castle” online, then you may have heard a thing or two already regarding Stana Katic potentially being missing in action for an upcoming episode thanks to her spending some time in Milan this fall. As it turns out, this episode appears to be “Cool Boys,” the next new episode airing a week from Monday?
So how have the writers chosen to not include her in the story? It is as simple as any technique that we have seen in the past when a show needs to write someone out for a short period of time. Executive producer Alexi Hawley tells TVLine that the character is “out of town at a meeting for a couple of days, at a work-related function.” He also apparently makes it clear that this “work-related function” is not tied into the LokSat story, otherwise known as that infamous bit of mythology that has played out over the course of this season and in turn pushed Castle and Beckett apart.
As for beyond this episode, it is pretty fair to say that Beckett will have important roles in both “The Last Seduction” on November 16 and then “Mr. & Mrs. Castle” on the 23rd, which is the fall finale and an episode that will hold many important cards to the future of the “Caskett” relationship. should I be flattered? Or should I be happy that the writers are not killing of any characters?
Audiences are the one being killed by writers this seasons…
They killed of many beloved fans…. after 7 seasons… how can they let this happen?

Jay, I agree not sure why ABC is letting this happen they have stated that they want Castle to continue for a couple more years. The way I see it it might not make it through this one unless the writers and whomever don’t get their act together. I don’t want to get other viewers angry but it appears they are losing fans weekly.

Yes we have lost around 3 million viewers from last year, and are down to 1.1 on the 18-49 age group. I wrote Mr. Paul Lee yesterday 10/29 he will have that letter today. I asking him to remove Hawley and Winter as show runners before they completely destroy this show. Mr Lee worked really hard on getting all the labor contracts signed. He than turned the future of this show over to two show runners who do not care about the fans, the numbers reflect that. With Mr Lee being a beam counter knowing he is losing business and money how much longer is he going to put up with that. Good loyal fans write to Mr. Paul Lee and let him know your concerns before we lose the show.

Georgee I am so glad ,someone did I didn’t know who to write to.I was just hoping either the show runners or writers would see these comments by the fans and fix the show lets hope your letter helps.
