‘NCIS’ season 13 spoilers: Rocky Carroll directs, Margo Harshman returns in ‘Viral’

NCIS -

Rocky Carroll has shown his directing chops before on “NCIS,” and thanks to the information that we have now, we know that he’s also going to be doing so yet again before we make it to the end of the month. (The actor made his directorial debut earlier this year with “We Build, We Fight.”)

Carroll’s next effort is October 27’s “Viral,” an episode that could feature a potential serial killer on the loose. Not only that, but the synopsis below teases that we’re going to get the return of one of our favorite characters in Delilah, who seems to now be done with her stint over in Dubai:

When a petty officer’s murder matches the M.O. of a local serial killer, the NCIS team must determine if this is the killer’s latest victim or the work of a copycat. Also, McGee and Delilah must learn to compromise before moving in together, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 27 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Series regular Rocky Carroll directed the episode and Margo Harshman returns as Delilah Fielding.”

It’s nice to see McGee making this step in the relationship, mostly because of the fact that it is nice to see almost any character on “NCIS” starting to take their personal lives to another level. When you look at the show over the years, the numbers of weddings / engagements / serious relationships is somewhat staggering. Most of Gibbs’ happened before the show even began, and Bishop entered the show married. Tony’s had some significant others through the years, but as we discussed in our recent ‘Shiptober article on the show, we have no idea where his story is going in the end.
