‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 4 preview: What’s next after Steve – Catherine shocker

On Friday night’s new episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” what we saw was the writers ripping out the heart of many Steve / Catherine ‘shippers and stomping on it. Was this a cruel twist? We wouldn’t say that, but it was still something that seemed rather harsh given that we had spent so many years with this relationship.

We do think that McGarrett will find his way back out there again in the future, and hopefully things end a little bit better for him this time. (We’re at least presuming that this is over; who knows?) Based on the synopsis for next week’s episode, it does look like the show is moving forward:

“Five-0 investigates when a wealthy recluse is found dead in a remote field with nearly one million dollars in counterfeit bills. Also, Adam is kidnapped by the Yakuza and forced to torture one of Gabriel’s men, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Football legend Jerry Rice guest stars as himself.”

The only hope that we can give you right now is that Catherine is seemingly doing some undercover work for a while, so there is a chance that she could come back. At the moment, though, we are just hoping that the McGarrett romance story is resolved by the end of the season. As we’ve been saying, there is still no word on whether or not there will be a season 7. The show may have to resolve this soon.
