‘Chasing Life’ cancellation: Italia Ricci, Aisha Dee, Robbie Amell, more react
On this particular Friday, the bad news revolved around “Chasing Life” being formally canceled by ABC Family after two seasons of drama and fantastic character moments. It was a difficult show to watch at times, but it did teach its audience a thing or two about handling grief and getting through some tough times. Season 2 ended with the news that April had exhausted all options for treatment, and that is now a pretty terrible way to end the series.
As you would expect, the majority of the cast is heartbroken by the news of the show ending. We’ve compiled a list of some reactions below, whether it be from main cast members Italia Ricci, Aisha Dee, Mary Page Keller, or even recent guest star and Ricci’s real-life fiance Robbie Amell. It’s a show that everyone seemed to enjoy working on, but this is an unfortunate part of this business where sometimes, things just don’t go your way. You have to understand that this is going to happen from time to time, and then hope to move on to the next big thing.
Our hope is that all of these people manage to get a chance to do something else cool in the near future.
