‘Ray Donovan’ season 4: Premiere date speculation, further hopes for Showtime drama
For all of those who love “Ray Donovan,” one thing that you have to prepare for at the moment is an epic season finale on Sunday night that is probably going to contain more than a few shocking moments. If there is one thing that we have certainly learned about this series over the years, it is that they have a fine tradition of leaving your jaw on the floor.
So what is going to be coming up for the fourth season? Given that we have not even watched the season 3 finale at the time we are writing this, there has to be a certain expectation for things to change dramatically based on what happens here. For the time being, we can just talk about return dates.
Given that the past two seasons have aired on Showtime in July, this is at the moment what we have to expect for the fourth season once again. The ratings are solid in this spot, and one of the most important elements of a successful show is consistency. Keeping a show on at the same spot are a big part of that.
Does the series need another huge guest star like a Katie Holmes? We’re not going to say that per se, but if the producers can get someone like her or a Hank Azaria on board once again for a significant role, it would be appreciated. Having a notable foil or adversary for Ray is one of the reasons why this show is successful in the first place.
