‘Big Brother 17’ finale: Meg Maley talks the game, voting for Steve in CBS backyard interview

Meg -

Was Meg Maley a serious threat to win “Big Brother” for most of the season? Not really, but thanks to her personality she managed to be one of those few players who the public still got behind. She was an underdog, an ally to James, and someone who was surprisingly evicted over Julia in what was a perfect chance to separate Austin and the twins before it got too deep in the game.

Like every other houseguest, Meg spoke with Jeff Schroeder in the backyard following the events of the finale. We have typed up at least some of the responses to select questions below for your convenience. Get ready to dive in!

On getting out of the house – “I have to call my mom, and hopefully find a bottle of vodka somewhere!”

On the outcome tonight – “I still am shocked Vanessa was not in the final two. The fact that Steve got her out, he had my vote. That was a huge move! I thought that he had the gusto to do it. I did want to vote for Liz; she was my girl.”

On Vanessa’s gameplay – “She played an amazing game. She got out there and fought.”

On her favorite moment – “There was one moment James, there was a praying mantis outside, and he faked that he was going to come in and throw it [at] me. I saw my life flash before my eyes … I saw death! I saw what it was like.”

On what’s next for him and James – “I can’t wait to see James walking the streets of Manhattan in his little visor! [Of course] he is coming.”

On what’s next – “Good question. I have no idea! I’m going to chill out for a while. I’m exciting to see texts on my phone.”
