‘Scorpion’ season 2 spoilers: Sylvester goes undercover … in federal prison?

“Scorpion” has to continue to find ways to surprise us in its second season, and it feels that for this show, one of the ways that they are managing to do that is by throwing contestants into bizarre situations. Did you think that we’d be seeing Sylvester going undercover in a prison at some point in the early going? We certainly didn’t.

This storyline (as seen in the picture above) is going to be taking place on Monday, October 5, and you can see the synopsis for the episode (entitled “Fish Filet”) below:

“In order to save the lives of three judges, Sylvester goes undercover in a federal prison but Team Scorpion must break him out when his life is threatened, on SCORPION, Monday, Oct. 5 (9:00-9:59 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Alana De La Garza returns as the new head of Homeland Security and Kevin Weisman returns as Walter’s new friend, Ray, whom he meets doing his court-mandated community service.”

Ultimately, we’re interested to see what happens here, especially since we are hearing more and more that this is going to be a great season (at least in the early going) from the Sylvester character. It should help to make it all the clearer that while Walter is really the face of the operation sometimes, Team Scorpion really is an ensemble, and it does not appear that anyone has an intention to drift too far away from that at all over the episodes ahead.
