‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Another look at Vicki Gunvalson – Briana argument

We’ve already written a little bit about Vicki Gunvalson’s trip to Oklahoma on the upcoming episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” Monday night, but the sneak peek below gives you further insight into just what is going on between her and her daughter Briana. As you would expect, Brooks Ayers is the focus, as it has been for many of their past arguments.

Briana is well-documented for not being a fan of Brooks, but his cancer battle complicates things in Vicki’s mind and therefore complicates things even further with her daughter. Briana brings up the subject in the sneak peek below, and it doesn’t go well, with Vicki deciding that she does not want to talk about it on-camera.

Here is what we never understand about these “off-camera” moments: Why not just wait until the camera people leave and then pick up the phone and handle things that way? While these two are eventually out of sight in the sneak peek, you can still hear their every word and clearly still mic’ed up or something. Maybe it is hard to really think of all of this in the moment if you are getting upset, and your natural impulse is just to get behind closed doors.

Anyhow, expect this argument to be one of the key stories in tonight’s episode, but we do already know to a certain extent how things end given that Vicki and Brooks are no longer together.
