‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Henry’s got a crush

Who knew that “Once Upon a Time” was planning to be so romantic going into season 5? We’ve got Snow and Charming still together, Captain Hook fighting for Emma Swan, and we’ve even got Henry seemingly falling for someone this season. He’s growing up!

Of course, good luck trying to get anyone on the show to open up about this particular topic. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, all executive producer Adam Horowitz would say is the following:

“It’s a character that we’re going to meet and we want it to be a surprise … It’s fun to give Henry something new to play and deal with, and to really explore Henry as a boy who’s growing up and all the joy and pain of adolescence.”

To us, what would be almost the most interesting would be seeing him have feelings for someone who, in this crazy storm of a show, is relatively normal, and has never been forced to deal with any real chaos or problems from their past. Place someone a little more used to everyday life into this crazy situation, and then see what happens.

With that said, we’re not entirely sure that this is going to be happening. This show does love to keep things complicated, and we have a feeling that this is only going to continue over the course of the entire season. The premiere date is set for Sunday, September 27, and we would not be that shocked to find out that Henry’s love interest is off somewhere in Camelot.
