‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 finale will not be delayed in Canada
All Canadians now have a reason to celebrate even more when it comes to “Beauty and the Beast.” The CW series already airs several days before it does in America, and it has now been confirmed via network Showcase that the upcoming season 3 finale will be coming up on August 30, more than a week before it does in America.
As some of you out there know already, The CW made the decision to delay the finale (entitled “Destined”) a week because of Labor Day Weekend and their fears (probably based on some past ratings data) that viewership is down on average the Thursday before Labor Day. While this show has already been renewed for a fourth season, they clearly want to make sure that as many different people as humanly possible get a chance to watch this series live, therefore giving the show the best ratings that they possibly can.
We’re not going to spoil much of the show in this article given that it airs at different times in different territories, but in general, let us just say that this could be one of the most exciting finales for the series yet. There’s still the issue of Cat and Vincent’s engagement that will be a key discussion point, but also questions surrounding Liam and whether or not he can be stopped.
If you come back later, we’ll have a full review of “Sins of the Fathers,” which is the penultimate episode of “Beauty and the Beast” this season.
