‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ spoilers: Backstreet Boy Nick Carter joins cast

While “Dancing with the Stars” is keeping with its promise of releasing a single cast member a day before the season 21 premiere on Monday, September 24, there are some problems with this plan … beginning with the sole fact that some of these cast members are leaking in advance.

Today, it was confirmed via Us Weekly that Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is the latest addition to the series, which is really not too big of a surprise given that nostalgia for the nineties / early 2000’s is extremely popular right now. Also, we cannot forget the fact that Carter is probably one of the people on this season who will be set up to do extremely well. He is used to performing in front of people, and while he may not have too much when it comes to actual ballroom dance experience, there was a lot of choreography in what he did with this super-famous boy-band back in the day.

Nick is also not even the first of his family to appear on the show; his little brother and fellow pop singer Aaron Carter previously performed many years ago, and performed decently, so Nick definitely had someone to give him advice as to whether or not he should sign up.

Will viewers turn out in the voting for Nick? For sure! He is the sort of person who, provided that he puts forth the effort and comes across well, should make it pretty far into the season. We’ll have a little more information on this once we get into the spotlight portion of the preseason in the coming weeks.
