‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7 spoilers: Daniela Ruah previews Kensi meeting Deeks’ mom
For all of those out there who are interested in seeing some major relationship milestones on “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 7, rest assured that there are going to be some really fun ones coming up. Specifically here, we are talking about getting a chance for Deeks to finally introduce his mom to Kensi! This is the first time that we are getting to see Pamela Reed in the role, and it does represent a tremendous step forward for the two after first committing to the relationship during the sixth season.
Speaking to TVLine, Ruah teases that it is not so much the fact of Kensi meeting Marty’s mom excites her; instead, it is about how it all comes together, and how Deeks takes his time to make that decision rather than just rushing into it:
“Things must be getting serious if he makes the choice to introduce her to his mom … Throughout that episode, Deeks gets calls on his phone, he doesn’t tell Kensi who it is, he doesn’t pick up… so you can see he’s making the decision about whether he wants to take this step or not. And then he ends up taking it,” previews the actress. “I like that they’ve made it a thought-out decision.”
Hopefully, we are going to get a greater sense by the end of this particular appearance as to whether or not Kensi and Deeks’ mother get along, and that gives us more evidence of where this relationship could be going. We’ve said this a few times now, and it still holds true: We’d like to see these two be engaged at some point in the next year or two. It doesn’t have to be rushed, but this is something many fans want to see and you don’t know how long the series will be around, so why not give the fans what they want?
