‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Camelot, Merida highlighted in latest promo

For the most part, the majority of the promos that we’ve seen for the upcoming fourth season of “Once Upon a Time” have really highlighted the Dark Swan more than anything else. To an extent, we do understand this since Jennifer Morrison is one of the show’s biggest stars, and seeing her transformation from good to evil is going to be very interesting to watch.

However, we do know that there is more to this story, and this is what the new promo below shows off! In this video, you are getting your first look at Camelot, including King Arthur and some of his knights! You also get a little clip of Lancelot, whose return is especially interesting given that we thought the character died seasons ago. Maybe this is meant as some sort of a flashback? It should be interesting, given that there is some sort of romantic history between him and Guinevere.

In general, it feels fairly easy to be excited for the fifth season. It seems like the writers are taking some risks, and it’s also been a while since we’ve seen some of the characters really spend a lot of time in a different world. For the most part, the past season really focused on Storybrooke, and you’d really have to go back to the Neverland arc to see another part of the universe really emphasized. This is all going to be a struggle of good versus evil, and the likes of Snow and Charming are going to need to find Merlin to break Emma from the Dark One’s curse once and for all.

The new season of “Once Upon a Time” is going to premiere on Sunday, September 27. Stay tuned for more news!
