‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: Bringing the dead back (in flashbacks)

Is anyone ever truly gone on ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder“? We’re sure that the answer here is “eventually,” but the series is not cutting bait from some of its familiar season 1 faces just yet … even if the characters are technically dead.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, show executive producer Pete Nowalk confirmed that at some point before you make it to the end of season 2, you are going to see the character of Rebecca (played by Katie Findlay) alive. Given that this is not a zombie or vampire show, odds are that she will be in flashbacks as you see more of what ultimately happened leading up to her stunning death. Early scoop suggests that you’ll find out who killed her early in the season, but there are still so many mysteries that could exist here including the “how” and the “why” of it all.

Also, it’s possible that we could see Sam Keating again at some point! You have to remember here that one of the biggest surprises of season 1 was learning that Frank was responsible for what happened to Lila Stangard, and going back in time may help to explain more of what may have compelled Frank to go through with the act.

We’re sure that the show will move forward with many new mysteries, but we do have to say that we’re happy to get something more in the way of answers when it comes to the story already laid out for us. The new season of “How to Get Away with Murder” is going to premiere on the network come September 24, and we will have even more news before then, so be sure to check back.
