‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: First look at Mike, Rachel in summer finale

Are Mike Ross and Rachel Zane getting married on “Suits” this summer? We’re not so sure that we are willing to say that at the moment, but we do think the actual wedding could become a story point by the end of season 5 … provided that they make it all the way to the altar.

The concern moving into the final two episodes of the summer is that the comments made by Claire towards Mike at the end of this past episode “Mea Culpa” could get into his head, and start to make him believe that for one reason or another, he is simply not worthy of being a potential husband to her. The concern here is that sooner or later, the secret is going to get unearthed and these two characters are going to have to deal with the consequences of that. If we are being 100% honest here, we do think that the odds of this happening eventually are probably pretty high. It’s hard to think that no one in the professional world will consider looking into Mike’s past.

The question is whether or not he is okay with Rachel dealing with this potential scandal. She may say that she is okay with it, but there is a different between saying that and then actually doing it when some of the you-know-what hits the fan.
