‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ rumors: Talking Kaitlyn Bristowe, Caitlyn Jenner

With the “Dancing with the Stars” premiere date of September 14 quickly approaching, now is the time that the rumors about the potential cast are going to quickly start to pop up. Today, it’s a tale of two women with very similar names!

Kaitlyn Bristowe – Of course, it makes sense that the former Bachelorette is the subject of rumors. Almost every leading man or woman from the franchise is, and Kaitlyn could be one of the first ones with a real chance at winning, given that she was listed as a dance instructor back on Chris Soules’ season of “The Bachelor.” Does that make it completely fair that she could compete? Well, the precedent was set when Nicole Scherzinger was brought on that dance experience doesn’t really matter.

According to E! News Kaitlyn is at least interested in doing the show, and given that the ratings for her season were pretty strong, we’re sure the feeling is mutual. One thing that may help her want to do the show even more is that she’s had a little time to be public with Shawn Booth and is not jumping right into the show. Even without this time both Chris and Sean Lowe agreed to do it. We think this one’s likely to happen.

Caitlyn Jenner – Meanwhile, this is much more unlikely. We imagine that producers would cast her over anyone else on the list, and given that Rob and Kim Kardashian have both already done the show, the family connection is there.

Alfonso Ribeiro did already tell the aforementioned publication, though, that he has heard that Caitlyn is not going to do it, at least this season. She doesn’t really need it when you think about it; she already has “I Am Cait” on E!, and plenty of money / popularity to go along with it. The funny thing here is that even back during the Bruce Jenner days ABC was aggressively trying to make this casting happen.
