‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3, episode 10 preview: The focus for Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan in ‘Patient X’

Tonight’s “Beauty and the Beast” episode was hardly the most eventful in the history of the series. As a matter of fact, it was more of a necessity than anything else. You had to get Cat and Vincent back on the same page in order to get them to move forward and try to finally stop Liam, the mysterious creation who is in many ways the show’s big bad at the moment.

The thing we like right away about the new new episode is simple: The title of “Patient X.” This is a name that really reminds us especially of some of the great works of science fiction, and it has a certain air of mystery to it. The synopsis below should give you a little more insight into what Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan, and the rest of the cast are going to be up to over the course of this story:

“When Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) make it their mission to capture Liam (guest star Jason Gedrick), they find information about a Patient X that they might be able to use to help them find him. Meanwhile, JT (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) work to confirm that JT is serum free.”

Are we officially done now with the whole VinCat wedding story? While it appears to certainly be stalled at the moment, we don’t really think of this as proof that it is over. As soon as Liam is taken care of and our couple starts to feel like nobody is after them anymore, who knows? Maybe that will be the push that the characters need to walk down the aisle with ease.
