‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: Controversy, and Joshua Albers, Joe Bailey’s arrival
We have found this season of “Bachelor in Paradise” so far to be surprisingly entertaining. Maybe part of the reason for that is that it doesn’t feel as awkwardly tense as this past season of “The Bachelorette,” or maybe we just like some of the characters. Either way, we are enjoying what the show is bringing to the table so far.
While we did lose one big personality in Jillian “black bar” Anderson on this past episode, Sunday’s installment is going to bring in two new guys who were recently on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season in Joshua Albers and Joe Bailey. It looks like things may be going okay for one of them in Joshua. As for Joe, not so much. The synopsis below makes us think that he is up to something not-so-stellar, and there is also another controversy regarding one of the women in Paradise:
“As the week begins, the unhappy Bachelorette reveals that she has a boyfriend back home and the cast questions her purpose in Paradise. Josh, the hunky bachelor that Lauren was waiting for, arrives with a date card in hand but asks Tenley out instead. The two have a romantic time in the charming beach town of Sayulita, but upon their return back to the house, a jealous JJ isn’t thrilled to see the chemistry forming between them. Meanwhile, the cast is shocked when new bachelor Joe arrives and displays abrasive behavior that is off-putting to everyone. He takes Juelia on a date where they ride horses to Quimixto Waterfalls and get to know each other over a picnic, but the budding relationship is short-lived as he later reveals his true intentions behind coming to Paradise.”
Based on the wording of the synopsis, it sounds like Lauren is who the “unhappy Bachelorette” probably is. At this point, will she just leave? She doesn’t seem to really be enjoying the experience, so we’re somewhat questioning why the show decided to go through with this in the first place.
Elsewhere, it sounds like this is going to be a pretty crazy three hours (yes, that is a lot of one show) coming up.
