‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: ‘White Collar,’ ‘Jane the Virgin’ alum alum to appear in premiere
Ready to learn a thing or two more about the latest addition to “The Good Wife“? Well, let’s just say that it is another TV veteran who you are probably very familiar with already if you’ve spent a lot of time watching various shows over the past few years.
According to a new report from TVLine, Bridget Regan of “Jane the Virgin” and “White Collar” fame is going to guest star in the premiere episode of the CBS series as Madeline Smulders, a plaintiff in some sort of estate case. Could this be a way for Alicia Florrick to dive back into the world of taking cases after the whole State’s Attorney debacle in season 6? We have to think that is a strong possibility, given that we know she is working to set up her own firm and getting clients is a huge part of that.
For Alicia, we feel like season 7 is going to be all about the art of the comeback, and proving that she can bounce back effectively from some really difficult times in her life. We’ve seen her definitely go through quite a bit over the years, but this could be a chance for her to find some happiness. She may even have a potential new love interest played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
As for when the new season premieres, think early October. Were it not for that “CSI” TV movie that serves as its series finale, it would be coming on even earlier.
